Beautiful Purple Sky Sunset Alternative Couples Photos
We met Christina and Lawrie in their gorgeous, listed building home (an old bank with a secret safe!) for some chats and homemade sugar-free cake (Mmmmm – thanks, guys). Their creative personalities shone through in the décor of their home. And as a bonus for Sarah and I, we got to hang out with these gorgeous people AND their energetic little doggie Rogue. FYI – all pets welcome at all photoshoot. Joy Story are animal-friendly ?
We started shooting in one of the bedrooms which had a gorgeous woodland bedcover. Sarah had her eye on it but I managed to keep her in line.? It was obvious from the start that these are two very in love people with a deep and beautiful connection. Lawrie and Christina were so lovely and easy to photography – as was Rogue who I think was trying to steal the limelight.
From there we moved on to the zen room. A perfectly peaceful room with natural colours and a freaking ace telescope for stargazing. Some more hanging out and getting to know each other and generally just having a wonderful time with Rogue and her lovely human beings.
Lawrie and Christina then took us on a stroll down by the river and we enjoyed some greenery. We love being able to see a couple in the familiar setting of their home and as well as being able to go outside and enjoy the natural light. As we documented these beautiful people sharing a laugh and also sharing some quieter moments, we really were reminded how lucky we are to be part of this.
With the sun setting over us, the light was just gorgeous and we wandered back along the river to the house, stopping for some beautiful purple sky photos – matching Christina’s hair!
We really enjoyed our time with Lawrie and Christina, and not forgetting wee Rogue. We hope you love the photos as much as we do. <3
