Modern Eden Leisure Village Wedding - Beth & Alan
“We’ve just spent tonight looking through all the photos and reliving the whole day. What can we say – we love them all! Thank you so much for all the amazing pictures, you’re the best photographer we could have hoped for!”
– Beth & Alan
Eden Leisure Village wedding
I always knew Beth and Alan were a couple with very good taste. I mean, they’d booked me after all! 😉 But their choice of wedding venue just confirmed things. They boked the wonderful Eden Leisure Village. I had my own 10 year wedding anniversary party there back in 2022, and couldn’t wait to go back!
It’s a fab glamping / spa / boutique / woodland / rustic / quirky barn venue. Phew! Basically, it’s very unique and cool. Des and Janet, who are the nicest couple ever, run it and are just so helpful. They cannot do enough for people who visit. I was mega excited for the day.
Weddings at Eden Leisure Village
Alan and Beth are awesome and so much fun. Eden Leisure Village was the perfect venue for them, super chilled and meant they could spend loads of quality time with their family and friends. I love that you get to take over the site the day before the wedding so you can host a games night or BBQ ahead of the wedding. A bunch of people can stay on site which gives everything festival vibes. Throw in some sunshine and you’re on to an absolute winner, and we got sun – win win!
It’s hard to believe that Eden Leisure Village is just a quick hop, skip and a jump from Glasgow city centre. Within 20 minutes of leaving the hustle and bustle of the city behind you’re surrounded by green fields and woodlands. It’s super tranquil, the perfect little getaway. I highly recommend it for a weekend away, even if you’re not planning on getting married whilst you’re there!
Alternative, glamping wedding in Glasgow
Alan and Beth wanted a chilled day surrounded by the people they loved the most. Which is exactly what they got. The weather was incredible, almost too incredible if that’s even a thing in Scotland. We ended up having to do their family photos in the shade as it was too sunny! Which almost never happens!
The marquee looked amazing, they stood under an arch of wild flowers to say their vows and there were a lot of happy tears during the ceremony. Not from Alan and Beth, mainly from Alan’s Sister who did a reading, laughing and crying her way through it. Love an emotional ceremony! Love it.
After Alan and Beth had danced their way back up the aisle (I recommend all newly married couples exit their ceremony this way, get that party started right from the get go!) they were engulfed in hugs from their loved ones. Then it was time to chuck a load of colourful confetti at them and grab drinks.
What a start to the day! And it was about to get better as the three of us jumped on a golf cart to head up to the woods for photos. Gotta love a golf cart. I got plenty of outtakes of Beth, creased with laughter, almost flying off the back of the golf cart.
Woodland wedding portraits, Eden Leisure Village
There’s a lot to love about Eden Leisure Village. The views, the Glamper Van (a very cool truck turned camper) and the party atmosphere. But me, I’m a big fan of the woodland up the hill. It’s so peaceful, perfect for a moment of quiet before returning to the mayhem. Alan and Beth loved their time out and I took loads of photos of them snuggling, giggling and generally revelling in their newly wedded bliss. Beautiful.
The rest of the day passed in a blur of hilarious speeches, chaotic dancefloors and that oh so stunning sunset which goes down beautifully over the back of the venue.
If you’re thinking of having an Eden Leisure Village wedding then I can’t recommend it enough. You will have the best time there. And make sure you book me, I want to go back!
