All you need is a marriage schedule, your one true love and we can do this ANYWHERE – Ahh, I love Scotland.

OMG what all is included?

A Wee Wild Wedding takes care of everything for a mini wedding for 2 to 10 people, you’ve got:

Photography: Joy Story Photography (That’s me, Sarah – hi!) – Up to 3 hours coverage to take some AWESOME images of your ceremony and you both with 150+ downloadable images.

Flowers: Briar Rose Design – Amazing florals from Mel to make your ensemble, ceremony and celebration POP (and smell divine).

Planning: Fin Flükra – Worth her weight in GOLD. Wedding Planning from Cat to take care of everything for you – from location help to accommodation and travel booking to liaising with all the vendors – make getting married a breeze! Wedding stress? Nah, never heard of it mate.

Humanist: An Amazing Celebrant – We know all the best celebrants, like Claire the Humanist and her funky shoes pictured here, who will work with you to create the most perfect ceremony for your little wedding.

Catering: Scottish Wild Picnics – A LUXURY picnic for two, sharing platters piled with locally sourced foods and treats, unlimited hot & cold drinks and their famous cream tea in a jar – Romance in the wilds on a tartan blanket. Additional covers can be added for wedding guests and all blankets, cushions, tables, crockery, linens, gazebos etc are provided for all-weather celebrations. (Jean also knows all the BEST locations for your wild ceremony and picnic!)

Videography/Live Streaming – Yup! You can stream your ceremony LIVE to family & friends across the world as it happens.

The fab James at StrangeWorx Wedding Films has been connecting people worldwide to bear witness to many a Scotland mini wedding. How amazing would this be?!

And we also have the fab Stevie at Journal Wedding Films who can create a gorgeous mini film of your elopement or mini wedding.

OK what’s the catch?

Alright, you caught me – There are some things we, unfortunately, can’t do for you – but worry not, help is on hand.

You’ll need to choose your ceremony location, we will help with that – we have SO many fab location ideas to choose from!! The wilds of West Scotland, a great glen, a serene loch, somewhere ancient? We have a super-secret map full of ideas. Or keep it simple and get married in your garden or a relatives garden, why the heck not?! I myself rented an Airbnb with a lovely garden and got married in it for my wedding – it was awesome!

You will need to arrange your marriage schedule. Once you’ve decided on a location, you’ll need to apply to the council your ceremony location falls in for your marriage schedule. Most councils charge £70 for the marriage schedule and you need to give 28 days notice unless you have exceptional circumstances and then the 28 days wait may be waived.

You will need to become a member of the Humanist Society Scotland – their celebrants cannot marry you unless you are one. It’s really easy to sign up though – once we’ve secured your celebrant we’ll let you know how to pay the £85 membership fee. Humanist ceremonies are the BEST ceremonies and trust me – I’ve been to a lot of ceremonies!

What else is there to do you ask?? Just the fun stuff!! Picking your wedding outfits and perhaps getting some rings if you fancy them! Cat from Fin Flükra is on hand to help research & book any required travel and accommodation for you as well. Easy peasy.
