“Sarah, Where to begin, thank you so much for being part of our day. The photos are fantastic!! We really loved working with you and Stevie a lot!! My gosh, the emotion that poured out of us and remembering what a day it was. How beautifully you captured it. We’ll never be able to thank you enough. You’re a dream Sarah, thank you always ♥”
– Alice & Andrew

Argh, I am super excited to have these two up on my blog today. Honestly, they were the cutest of couples. Proper soulmates. I mean, look at them, have you ever seen bigger smiles?!

Alice and Andrew got married at the super funky Rhynd in Fife. All along they’d been planning for a big outdoor celebration and refused to think that the weather wouldn’t play ball. Well, the day dawned and it was…so hot and sunny! Yes! I think all us wedding suppliers breathed a huge sigh of relief for them.

Wedding photography at The Rhynd, Fife

The Rhynd is so cool. It’s a big old wedding barn on a working farm. A real blank canvas so couples can put their stamp all over it. Which is exactly what Alice and Andrew did. These two are really sociable so wanted somewhere big enough for all their family and friends to party. The Rhynd was perfect for them!

One of the best bits of The Rhynd is the Farmhouse, where Alice got ready. It’s amazing. So many nooks and crannies and the most beautiful light. If you’re getting married at The Rhynd then make sure you have your morning prep at the Farmhouse. Plus it’s just a short stroll over to your ceremony. Win!

Speaking of ceremonies, as it was so lovely Alice and Andrew had theirs outside in the gardens. They are so chilled out and love having a giggle together so their ceremony, led by TikTok sensation (yes really!) Halde Pottinger, was full of laughter. Even their handfasting almost turned into some kind of tug of war! It was hilarious.

After they were married it was time for confetti…oh, wait up! Everyone was handed bubble guns and mayhem ensued! Yep, these two had decided confetti was way too boring for them so they walked through a tunnel of bubbles! As you can imagine everyone loved it and there were a lot of bubble gun antics going on!

Outdoor summer wedding at The Rhynd

Alice and Andrew spent the day celebrating outside before venturing inside The Rhynd for their wedding breakfast. It looked so good in the barn. They’d brought in a lighting company to put together some cool lighting designs for them – and had even had their own logo made and projected on the wall! A bee and a goose, in honour of their surnames and wedding hashtag!

All their tables were named after their favourite games which this self-confessed board game addict absolutely loved. Andrew runs his own pub quiz company so I shouldn’t be surprised that they’re both big fans of a game!

As the sun began to set the three of us nipped out to the polytunnels (I know, how cool do they look!) for some photos. Then it was time to party. The band kicked off the ceilidh and everyone crowded onto the dancefloor. They were all so up for it!

Just before I left them all to it I grabbed Alice and Andrew and whisked them outside for a final couple of photos under the fairy lights. A chance to have a minute or two together before they jumped back into the dancing.

Such a good day. Such a great couple. Here are my favourites.
