Stylish & Natural 29 Private Members Club Wedding

29 Private Members Club, was Perfect for Louise & William’s Stylish City Centre Wedding

“Joy Story Photography were recommended to us by a friend, so we had a look at their website to see if they would be a good fit for the style of photography we wanted for our wedding.
It’s tough to make the choice for a wedding photographer, but having met up with Sarah for a chat initially, we felt very reassured that Joy Story were the team for the job.
Communication was always brilliant and we felt very well looked after in the lead up to the wedding and that we would get the photos we really wanted.  I’m pleased to say that Sarah and Kristeen managed to totally surpass any expectations we had.  Our wedding guests commented on how lovely they are (without being conspicuous) and not only were our photos absolutely beautiful, we received them back even sooner than we thought.
Expect professionalism, a deep caring about what they do and a couple of lovely, friendly faces when you hire Joy Story Photography – and some amazing little surprises :). I can’t recommend them highly enough.” – Louise & William

When we met Louise and William at 29 Private Members Club Glasgow for their pre-wedding meeting we knew it was going to be a super stylish and fun wedding. They met at the gym and now run their very own, The Club Gym, on Glassford Street Glasgow. So we knew the two of them and their gym bunny friends and business partners were going to be having a heck of a cheat day party, and they did not disappoint!

On the day I met Louise, her Mum, sister and super cute niece (and flower girl) Eve at the Rainbow Rooms salon where all four were already looking gorgeous. We then headed back to 29 Glasgow and the girls completed their perfect hair and makeup with their stunning dresses. I had to agree with wee Eve when she said, ‘We look beautiful Mummy’. They really did!

Meanwhile, Sarah was with the boys at 29 Glasgow capturing them getting ready for the wedding. All the gents looked incredibly handsome as they greeted the guests arriving at the luxury Royal Exchange Square venue. We feel so lucky to be wedding photographers in Glasgow, so many amazing venues right on our doorstep, just like this one right in the city centre.

When it came time for the ceremony, the room looked so romantic, lit with fairy lights and candles. After a heartfelt and moving ceremony led by Andy, their humanist celebrant, Louise and William walked back down the aisle as husband and wife and were greeted by CONFETTI! Who doesn’t love a confetti shot?

For the formal family photos, Louise and William had the lovely idea of bringing photos of loved ones who sadly had passed away and couldn’t be there with them. As you can see this brought many to tears – myself and Sarah included. It really was a wonderful moment and provided some precious images to be treasured.

As a venue, a 29 Glasgow wedding provides such a variety of options for the formal photos and for the bride and groom’s portraits. This was great as the weather wasn’t on our side much that day, however, we did manage to get outside for some cityscape photos after dinner just as the sun was going down.

After dinner the evening guests arrived, the cake was cut and Louise and William had their first dance – cue more tears. Then it was time for the party! And these guys were straight up on the dance floor, shaking their things to some funky disco numbers.

Huge congratulations to Louise and William on their 29 Glasgow wedding, wishing you both a lifetime of health and happiness!

Enjoy the photos!
