Andy & Joanne’s Banchory Lodge Wedding, Aberdeenshire
Andy & Joanne had an amazing day at Banchory Lodge and we were so happy to capture all the fun and frolics for them. As you’ll see below they run with the tough mudder crowd and so there were some interesting group shots! Andy even did a tough mudder obstacle race on their honeymoon to Las Vegas!! Now that’s commitment.
They also had their adorable labradoodle doggy with them all day. She helped with hair and makeup (honest!), walked down the aisle with Joanne’s sister, and even stayed to jive her paws at the dancing!
Joanne was surprised with an amazing gift on the wedding morning from her family. She and her bridesmaids would be travelling to Banchory Lodge in style in a decked out retro VW wedding van (named Angus) from Deeside Classic Campers! What a great present!
Venue: Banchory Lodge
Banchory Lodge is a really great venue on the banks of the River Dee, only 40 minutes from Aberdeen. It’s super quiet and idyllic, set up a long winding driveway away from the road and shops. The river is literally right next to it and it has big private gardens to wander through. A photographer’s dream! They can host both ceremony and reception and, as it’s a hotel, there are rooms on site for friends and family to enjoy the night without having to get a taxi back anywhere. There’s also a separate six bedroom cottage on site that is ideal for the wedding party to share/party it uuuup in. (Don’t tell them I said that.)
Mahoosive Congrats to Andy & Jo – Enjoy the set!
