Fiona & Martin’s Family Focussed Winter Wedding at House for an Art Lover, Glasgow
Fiona & Martin did something outrageous. They planned and executed their awesome House for an Art Lover wedding in only 12 weeks! Yes, it can be done! They seized the day and decided that this wedding was going to happen, and it all turned out perfectly.
Their wonderful son was ring bearer and they had their family and friends all around them as they tied the knot at Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s House for an Art Lover in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow. The venue is beautiful and lends itself so well to weddings that you can have the ceremony, dinner and reception all in several stunning rooms throughout the house.
Martin’s very talented and lovely cousin Sorcha May provided music during the signing of the register and at the dinner too.
We also managed to get outside for some bride & groom portraits just as the sun was going down, our favourite time of day so that was a treat for us too.
The speeches were really lovely, especially when Martin got a bit choked up as he announced that he and his new wife have another baby on the way! Kristeen and I both started to tear up too!
After dinner, everyone went downstairs to the party where It’s No’ Reel, a smashing ceilidh band, led everyone through some traditional dancing; the guests, and us, loved it!
We could not be happier to say congratulations to Martin & Fiona! Enjoy the photos!
