Anniversary photo shoots are the best! I bang on about it loads so you know I’m a massive advocate for photo shoots at every opportunity. Anniversary shoots, engagement sessions, “you’ve just got yourself a wee dog and want to show it off” shoot. I’m there for them all.
Precious and Obas are totally on my wavelength. For their second wedding anniversary, they wanted to go on an adventure and have a photoshoot to celebrate. I was so up for that!
Sunset Wedding Anniversary Photo Session Glasgow
Precious and Obas met at university in Nigeria. They have since moved to Scotland and completely and utterly fallen in love with the place, the people, and their life here. Their photoshoot was not only to celebrate their wedding anniversary but to celebrate their life together in their new home.
Both Precious and Obas are so lovely and super sweet together. And absolutely gorgeous. I just love how they made sure their outfits were co-ordinated and that Precious brought along some sunflowers for their session. They’d written cards to each other and read them during the shoot. The emotions at that moment were amazing, it was a really fab sentiment.
We had decided to go for a sunset photoshoot. It’s just the most glorious time of day and we were absolutely blessed with an amazing golden hour and sunset. The light was just, argh! Fantastic!
Couples Photo Session Glasgow
You wouldn’t think that these photos were taken just outside Glasgow would you! It’s not the most traditional place for a photoshoot and lots of people wouldn’t think it was the most photogenic but the three of us absolutely loved it and, most importantly, Precious and Obas were over the moon with the final images. The three of us loved having a wander around and exploring. It just shows that you can have amazing photographs anywhere. All you really need is good light and great people and boom! You end up with the most incredible set of photos. There are hidden gems everywhere. And honestly, when you end a shoot with a sunset like this one then you are absolutely winning.
I’ll stop waffling now and let you take in the cuteness and amazingness (is that a word? It is now!) of Obas and Precious’ photos. But I’ll leave you with this. Have a photoshoot, celebrate anything and everything. Be in more pictures together. Get dressed up, use it as an excuse for a date day, and let’s go exploring!
